4 Point Comparison
During the generation of component lists and related activities, many changes have to be implemented in multiple documents including the component list itself, material master and/or other related design files. To guarantee permanent synchronization between all related information, the DS-2 PLMready solution provides a 4 Point Comparison methodology to cover all changes of related information within one single "Comparison Result Window". Here you can see all relevant changes made in the meantime and then assess how to handle the changes and synchronize information back into the final files.
Delta Assessment:
Delta assessment is one part of the 4 Point Comparison methodology which allows the assessment of all delta changes between schematic and Component List, or Component List and Material Master.
