Tech Tip: Assigning IBIS Models in Design Force

Menu

Today’s high-speed designs require a close look at signal integrity. You need to be aware of the areas of the board where problems like crosstalk, noise, or timing issues can cause the design to perform poorly, or not at all. Running the Crosstalk Estimation report is one way to keep an eye on the signals on your board. Running an SI analysis is important as well. CR-8000 Design Force performs SI analysis on selected circuits. To get accurate results you need to assign the correct IBIS Model to your devices.

In this video, we are going to look at assigning IBIS Models in CR-8000 Design Force.
