Position:          Sales Support Specialist

Reports to:    Director of Customer Support

Location:        Westford, Massachusetts, or remote office in U.S.

Status:             Full-time, non-exempt

Zuken seeks an energetic Sales Support Specialist to support our Sales and Customer Support teams while assertively following up on leads to sell Zuken software.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with Salesforce software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

You will perform initial lead qualification for Zuken USA Inc.  This will entail contacting prospective customers, gathering their needs in a positive, personable, and professional manner to see how our software can help them achieve their goals.  You will generate sales quotations, invoices, and software licenses for our customers using Salesforce with support from our Sales Operations Processing team.

You will also be expected to contact an existing portfolio of accounts to check in on their success utilizing our Zuken software and actively seek opportunities to expand our existing business.  You will work in a professional and personable manner to support customers, prospects, and internal staff.    Other duties will be assigned based on the Sales and Customer Support department’s business needs.

This position will be ideally located at our Westford, Massachusetts, corporate office.  However, working remotely will be considered.

Qualifications

  • Three years’ experience in a business office environment required, preferably with exposure to technical software sales and customer support.
  • Experience using Salesforce software, Microsoft Office software ie, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience serving as a communication bridge between sales, internal staff, and customers to ensure smooth technical and business alignment.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with sales support departments at other Zuken locations outside of the North America.
  • Ability to follow defined processes while contributing to the ongoing process improvement efforts.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Preferred: Background in Electrical or Electronics industry

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have outstanding communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.  Must be capable of working effectively in both team and individual environments.  Strong customer relation skills a must.  Some business travel may be required.  This position requires the use of information that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
