E3.view is the free-of-charge viewer for E3.series.

E3.view allows you to distribute E3.series projects as original data. This ensures accurate exchange of data with production, service, suppliers and customers, while providing powerful E3.series functionality, e.g. Search, Jump, Device Properties.

  • For original E3.series data and special Viewer files
  • Displays all object attributes
  • Search functions, dynamic “Pan” and “Zoom”
  • Jump using cross-references
  • Print with Windows®-supported printers
  • E3.view is available in a range of languages, contained within the one download, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese and Japanese.


After installation, you will find three modules: E3.redliner, E3.viewer and E3.viewerPlus. The free license provided will only activate the E3.viewer module.

  • E3.viewerPlus and E3.redliner offer more functionality but are not available for free.
  • For more information about these modules please refer to the datasheet.

To run E3.series some system requirements have to be considered. Please check, whether your system meets these requirements.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
  • HTML Help support.
  • Windows Scripting Host Version 5.6.

Suggested computer configuration for Windows computers:

  • 2 GHz CPU or higher
  • at least 4 GByte RAM
  • at least 100 GB disk (Installation need about 4 GB space)
  • 19 inch screen with 1920*1080 or wide screen monitor suggested: Dual screen solution
  • 3-key “wheel mouse”
  • DVD-ROM drive (for installation)
  • there’s no special demand for the video card.
