Export
To export drawings, text and graphics to other programs,
-
selecting File -> Export from the Main Menu bar,
-
and select the desired export option.
As Image
To export data as image,
-
select the File -> Export -> As Image... command from the Main Menu bar or
-
select the Export as Image... command from the displayed context menu activated in the Sheet tree view of the Project window.

The Export as Image dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data, Cancel to cancel the operation or Options to open the Export Image as TIF/GIF/JPG/BMP/PNG... or the Export Image - Area dialog boxes.
CGM
To export a drawing in CGM format, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->CGM... command on the Main Menu bar.

The Export CGM Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the files.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
DGN
To export a drawing sheet in DGN format, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->DGN... command on the Main Menu bar.

The Export DGN Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
Drawing
To export a drawing or part of a drawing, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->Drawing... command on the Main Menu bar or
-
select the Export Drawing... command from the displayed context menu activated in the Sheet tree view of the Project window.

The Export Drawing dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and the desired sheets of the drawing that you wish to export.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
DXF/DWG File
To export a drawing sheet or part of a drawing sheet, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->DXF/DWG... command on the Main Menu bar.

The Export DWG/DXF Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
This functionality is only available, if the appropriate license is present!
To export a drawing sheet or part of a drawing sheet in PDF format proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export->PDF command on the Main Menu bar or
-
select the Export PDF... command from the displayed context menu activated in the Sheet tree view of the Project window.

The Export PDF dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
JT
This functionality is only available with E³.series 64-Bit!
To export 3D data as JT files,

select the File -> Export -> JT... command from the Main Menu bar.

The Export JT dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file and the name for the file.
STEP
3D panel files can be exported in STEP format. Thus, the panel layout is available in a format, which 3D mechanical systems are able to read.
Therefore, the user can import several mounting plates, for example, to simulate collisions between the mounting plates.
To export 3D panel data as STEP file, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->STEP... command from the Main Menu bar.

The STEP Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
VRML
Exporting Virtual Reality Modelling Language Files is only possible on active panel sheets!
To export a panel sheet or a part of a panel sheet as VRML file proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->VRML... command from the Main Menu bar.

The Virtual Reality Modelling Language Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the file, the name for the file, the type of file to save as and a few more options.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
WebView
Project data from E3.series can be converted into SVG format in order to be able to publish them in an Inter- or Intraweb.
To export a drawing in SVG format, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export ->WebView... command on the Main Menu bar.

The E3Web - Access Export dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the files.

Click OK to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
The sheet structure defined in the Sheet Tree of the Project Window is adhered to in the SVG files output.
XVL
To export a drawing in XVL format, proceed as follows:

Select the File -> Export -> XVL... command on the Main Menu bar.

The Export XVL Files dialog box appears. Here you can define the location where you want to save the files.

Click Save to export the data or Cancel to cancel the operation.
