WebView
To export a drawing in SVG format,
-
select the File -> Export -> WebView... command from the Main Menu bar and
-
complete the following dialog box:
The system always starts the dialog in the directory defined in the Settings' Default Directory page. The dialog box allows you to select drive and folder where you want to save the files.
You can also type the full path of a folder. If it doesn't exist, a message is displayed and you can confirm creation of a new folder by clicking on OK.
The SVG files will then be generated in the specified folder. Finally, a message box appears asking you whether or not to view the Web project. Click on Yes to start the standard browser and display the newly created project. To be able to view the result of the export, the Adobe SVG Plug-In must be installed for the browser.
When exporting an SVG file a red cross will be displayed if the link does not refer to an image.
Notes
-
If the attribute templates' texts are defined with TechnicBold font, they are only output as rectangles as SVG cannot display this particular font correctly.
-
When exporting the default tree view is used for the output.
