Component Wizard - Properties
The next step is to define the component attributes in the Properties dialog.
When defining the properties, selection lists offer values already stored in the database.
Component name |
Displays the new component name defined in the Identification dialog. |
Version |
Displays the new component version defined in the Identification dialog. |
Name |
The Name column lists all attributes of the new component.
They can be added by either typing them in the last empty field or by selecting them from the drop-down list accessed by clicking twice in the field.
These component- and customer-specific attributes must be predefined in the table Format -> Attribute Names.
If the new component is based on an already existing one (activating the New command on an already existing component in the Database Window's Component tab), the 'base' component's attributes are displayed in the Name field and can be modified. |
Entry |
Any description can be entered for the selected attribute.
