Defining Sheet Layout
Start the Database Editor (see Database Editor) and start Sheet creation by:
-
right-clicking on a sheet format in the Misc View of the Database Window and selecting the New command on the Sheet object menu;
-
then right-click on the sheet in the Database Editor Window, select the Properties... command from the displayed context menu and select the Sheet Layout tab.
-
Alternatively, right-click in the Working Area and select the Symbol Properties... command from the displayed context menu and select the Sheet Layout tab.
The following dialog box will be displayed:
The layout of the rows and columns (shown in red) can be displayed or hidden by clicking on the Sheet Layout toolbar button.
Note on Terminal-Plan sheets
-
Table symbols can be created by clicking on the Terminal Placement Line button
on the Database Symbol toolbar. The button is only active, if the sheet to be edited, is actually a terminal plan sheet.
-
The sheet can be drawn in vertical and horizontal directions only.
-
The line is gray and has a width of 0.1mm. As its properties cannot be changed, the Graphic Properties context menu is not available for this line.
-
If the 'Terminal Placement Line' button is activated and the sheet already contains a graphic line of that type, no new line can be created, but the existing one is selected and can be edited.
