Symbol Properties (Database Editor mode)

To display/modify the properties of a symbol (in Database Editor mode),

• right-click on the symbol in the Symbol or Component Tree of the Database Window and select Symbol Properties... from the displayed context menu.
  

   

  In this case no modifications can be made. The dialog only serves for information on the different database entries.

• To modify the symbol properties, right-click on a symbol in the Symbol or Component Tree of the Database Window, select New (Symbol) or Edit from the context menu and select the Symbol Properties... command from the displayed context menu activated on the symbol itself in the working area,

• or select the Properties... command from the context menu activated on a symbol in the DBE's Project Window tree view.

• Or select Format -> Symbol Properties... on the Main Menu bar.

 

A dialog box appears in which you can modify the properties of a symbol.
