Define Display Modes to Show Connection Types

Because of its many different connection types, E3.series has been supplied with two different display modes for connections.

Edit mode (the default)

In Edit mode, all connections are shown in well-defined colors and line styles. This helps to avoid confusion when defining local connection properties on specific lines for documentation purposes.

The picture on the right shows all connection types in Edit mode.

Colors and line types can be modified in Database Editor mode using the Format -> Color Definitions command.

Individual connection

Unnamed individual connection

Conductors

Multi-conductor connection

Open-ended connection

Documentation mode

In Documentation mode, all connections are shown in the user-defined color, line width and line modes.

To switch between these display modes, use the View->Connection Types command on the Main Menu Bar or activate/deactivate the Display Mode toolbar button .
