Net Segment Lengths

Length-information attributes may be associated with an individual segment of a connect line.

 

Attributes for the segment are assigned and displayed in the bottom section of the Connection Properties dialog.

 

The connection between two connect nodes (symbol- and net nodes) is considered to be a net segment.

 

Please note:

• If a new branch is added to a line segment that has already assigned a length, the length is split into two parts dependent on the ratio of the two segments of the original connect line.

• When moving a branch, the segment lengths of the connect line remain unchanged.

• If, during a modification, a line is moved to a position between two attribute indicators, the length information is not split, but assigned to one of the segments on which an indicator exists. The other segment is assigned the length 0.
