Project is in exclusive mode, last opened by...

When a project is opened in exclusive mode, the last user is displayed.

When opening a multi-user project, a message is displayed in the Results window if the project was previously opened by another user in exclusive mode. In this case the last settings are also returned.

Exclusive mode

In E3.series it is possible to assign local option and variant settings to clients.

To be able to display the automatic references or terminal plans according to the local user settings, a multi-user project can be opened in Exclusive mode.

  • In exclusive mode, the server guarantees that only one user can access a project.

  • All automatic references as well as terminal plans are recalculated and displayed according to the current user settings.

Note

If the project to open is assigned a lifecycle, the respective lifecycle is displayed below the Description field.
