Component Wizard - Overview

The Component Wizard is available to help you create components.

 

Working with the Component Wizard is the preparation for the graphical component creation.

 

The Wizard is displayed as soon as you begin to create a new component by selecting

• the New Component command of the context menu by right-clicking on the header of the Component column in the Component View of the Database Window. If the Database Editor has not already been started, it will automatically do so.

• Or by selecting the New command of the context menu of a component by right-clicking on the component in the Component View of the Database Window, with the Database Editor started.

 

The first steps (Identification, Properties) of the Component Wizard are identical regardless of which specific component is created.

 

Depending on the component type to be created there are several sub-steps.
