Job Description
Zuken USA seeks a bright, energetic, and creative individual to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Communications Specialist will report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with the Director of Marketing Communications daily. This position involves all aspects of the team’s efforts, including events, social media, digital marketing, and content creation. The ideal candidate is creative, hands-on, and works well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the company’s social media channels, including content and graphics creation, scheduling, and posting.
- Coordinate planning and logistics for external events and trade shows and attend as needed.
- Coordinate planning, design, and development of various digital graphic design projects, including content for social media, webinars, newsletters, collateral, press releases, website, and trade shows.
- Create and edit video content for social media, product promotion, webinars, trade shows, etc.
- Write and edit blog posts, entering content into WordPress.
- Maintain a content calendar and work with the internal team to create content for relevant channels.
- Manage purchase orders and invoices related to the annual departmental budget.
- Assist with communication, planning internal events, and attending as needed (SKO and ZIW).
- Travel to internal and external events to manage on-site execution, approximately 4-6 per year.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communication, digital marketing, or related fields, ideally within the tech segment.
- Experience planning events (physical, digital, and hybrid).
- Understanding of and experience in creating strategic content for social media.
- Basic data analysis skills – understands communication KPIs (e.g., impressions, CTR, on-page analytics) and business KPIs (e.g., leads generated, opportunities won).
- Experience with digital marketing methods and marketing automation systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Video and image editing for the purposes of webinars, emails, and website content.
- Native English speaker who communicates clearly and informatively with colleagues, partners, and customers verbally, in writing, and in presentations.
- Outstanding business writing and editing skills.
- Is detail-oriented, highly accurate, and thorough while working under tight deadlines.
- Has a proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple competing assignments.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills to identify workarounds and alternatives.
Can work well in a team and independently with a can-do attitude.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- B2B marketing experience
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative suite, specifically an in-depth knowledge of Adobe InDesign with a good understanding of how to package files for print.
- Marketing automation campaign development and execution using Marketo.
- Experience planning digital campaigns (especially LinkedIn and Google Ads)
- Self-starter with high levels of initiative and creative flair with a hands-on approach.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, internally and externally, across all functions and at all levels.
