Position: Software Developer
Reports to: Product Director, E3.Series
Education: BSEE, BSCS, or Equivalent Experience
The primary responsibility will be to devise, code, and support custom applications by developing scripts and programs to function within Zuken’s E³.series suite of tools. Other responsibilities include understanding customer requirements and fitting software to needs by configuration and setup, providing software demonstrations, supporting software evaluations, training classes, implementation support, and hotline support.
Minimum: 5 years of experience as a software developer or design engineer experienced with cabling and wire harness design. Hands-on CAD experience with one or more cabling and wire harness design tools.
Preferred: Hands-on CAD experience with Zuken E3.series software suite. Programming experience with VB Script, Visual Basic, C#, and the .NET framework, Microsoft Access, SQL, and Oracle database.
Experience with Web applications storing and retrieving data in the cloud alongside utilizing Azure DevOps in an Agile development methodology is a strong requirement.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be capable of working in both a team environment and individually. Strong customer relations skills a must. Business travel requirements range expected to be approximately 10% of the employee’s time.
