Job Description

This is your opportunity to join Zuken’s elite team of professionals providing application technical expertise relative to the sale, deployment, and support of Zuken’s E3.series software suite – the premier software solution for design and verification of electro-mechanical control schematics, control panel layouts, interconnection diagrams, wiring, cabling, and wire harness assemblies ( https://www.zuken.com/us/product/e3series/ ).  You will provide application support to Zuken customers in a wide range of North American industries, including automotive and transportation, military, aerospace, machinery, medical electronics, and power systems.

Primary job responsibilities include assisting customers with implementing E3.series software, Q&A, troubleshooting and resolving customer usage issues, and providing day-to-day customer support.  Opportunities for advancement include instructor, professional services including large-scale deployment projects, and pre-sales engineering positions.  Opportunities for business travel in support of Zuken’s rapidly growing North American customer base.

Qualifications

Minimum:  Five years experience as a field application engineer or design engineer.  Hands-on CAD experience with one or more schematic capture or cabling design tools. Technical writing and or software specification development experience.

Preferred:  Five + years experience as a field applications engineer focused on cabling and wire harness design.  E3.series software experience is a plus.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), and have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.  Must be capable of working in both a team environment and individually.  Strong customer relation skills are a must.  The ideal candidate may spend 25% on-site with Zuken customers in multiple locations within North America.
