During this training session you will learn all about working with E3.schematic to create circuit diagrams and how to work with E3.cable to create cabling documentation

  • Project Properties: Create New, Open, Close, Save
  • Placement Aids: Zoom, Pan, Grids, Crosshairs, Rulers
  • Components and Symbols: Placing, Editing, Copying, Moving, Deleting
  • Connections: Single, Multiple, Auto Routing, Forced Wiring
  • Signals: System/User Generated Signals, Signal Cross-references
  • Cables / Wire Groups: Database Cables, Wire Groups Inserting and Deleting
  • Assigning attributes to connections, components and symbols

  • Data generation: Sub-circuits, reports and lists
  • E3.cable overview
  • Handling connector components: selection, placement, splitting, mating
