With E3.fluid, the functionality of E3.schematic can be extended for the planning of hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling and lubrication systems. E3.fluid can be used as a standalone or in addition to E3.schematic. Intelligent sheet formats enable combined electrical and fluid planning with smart switching between electrical and fluid elements.
E3.cable is used for the designing and documenting of cable plans and wire harness layouts. As an extension of E3.schematic, E3.cable can combine individual wires into cables or cable bundles, add shielding and twisted pair structures to the cables and automatically display them in the schematic. Complete systems and subsystems such as control units, rack equipment or even black boxes can be integrated as functional blocks in a hierarchical representation.
Using the E3.3DRoutingBridge, schematic and connection information from E3.series can be interfaced to all major MCAD systems. Collaborating between E3.series and your chosen MCAD tool allows concurrent design. Mechanical engineers and electrical engineers can work independently or collaboratively.
The E3.ReportGenerator is a tool that allows to create individual reports from E3.series projects in just a few steps. These reports can be configured according to any parameters and exported in various formats.
E3.panel allows engineers to design components within control cabinets in both 3D and 2D. The signal logic is taken from the circuit diagram. Wires can be automatically routed through the channels in the control cabinet with an autorouting function. With special links to cable preparation machines, cables can be stripped, crimped and marked automatically. This makes E3.panel a universal engineering solution for future-proof control cabinet construction.
E3.RevisionManagement ensures that all changes are tracked and documented. Alternative revisions of a design are compared and all changes are marked and saved in graphic and textual formats. The resulting documentation can be fed back into the production process so that all changes can be implemented.
With the DS-E3 StarterPackage, Zuken provides a range of functions for its DS-E3 data management software that is specifically designed for the management of E3.series projects. The standardised installation with a hands-on training concept guarantees a short time to market. This combination provides a perfect introduction to data management with DS-E3. Thanks to the modular architecture, the StarterPackage can be flexibly expanded and adapted as requirements increase.
