Today we can look back on a successful ZIW Digital Germany. We all connected, shared, learned, and grew as individuals – and as a community. We were able to achieve all of this amid a global pandemic, affecting all of us around the globe.

This year’s Zuken Innovation World Americas (ZIW) will be a bit different from past events – which is probably an understatement when you see what we have in store for participants.
As part of the Technology Research Team at Zuken Technology Centre (ZTC) Bristol, my role is to innovate and improve on Zuken’s routing and placement tools using new technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. One downside is that I have less contact with Zuken customers than I’d like. This meant I jumped at the chance to attend Zuken Innovation World (ZIW) UK last year, for the first time.
Geo (short for Geoffrey) Ng joined Zuken in 2017 and enjoys the responsibilities and flexibility of his job, the travel opportunities and the “can-do” attitude of the company. He is based in the bay area of San Francisco, California, USA.
Tom Lucas joined Zuken in 1997 and has been challenged in a variety of roles and rewarded with promotion opportunity. Today he is part of a small but mighty team of three specializing in PCB routing research, and is based in the Zuken Technology Centre in Bristol, UK.
Mark Rapson joined Zuken in 2014 as a new graduate and has since been promoted twice. Today he is part of a seven-strong team developing a completely new PCB design tool, based in the Zuken Technology Centre in Bristol, UK.
