Application Engineer E-CAD & Product Data Management (f/m/d)

Your primary role will be to support our customers use of Zuken’s E-CAD and PDM solutions in the field of electrical systems. You will be responsible for the technical development of new customer business and the continued development of long-term customer relationships with respect to technical applications.

Your tasks:

  • Project management of local and international customer projects
  • Identification of need and deployment for IT engineering solutions and processes in close cooperation with prospects and customers
  • Pre-sales support of our sales department with product presentations and evaluation projects
  • Installation, commissioning, and system instruction
  • Delivering training for users and administrators
  • Recording of market and customer requirements for product enhancements
  • Participation in the strategic development and quality process of our ECAD and PDM solutions

Your experience:

  • Enthusiastic, versatile and self-motivated
  • Studies in electrical engineering, electronics, training as an electrical engineering technician or comparable practical experience
  • Good knowledge of Electrical engineering design
  • Experience with CAD / CAE systems
  • Ideally knowledge of deploying and supporting ERP / PLM systems
  • A high level of personal responsibility and the ability to work independently together with a drive for self-motivation are expressly desired
  • Convincing presentation skills, the ability to work in a national and international team, as well as a methodical work ethic
  • Willingness to travel within UK and Europe
