Find and Replace
The Find and Replace dialog can be opened
by selecting Edit -> Replace... on the Main Menu bar or
by using the shortcut Ctrl+H or
by selecting the Replace button on the Display toolbar.
The results of the search are listed in the Results tab of the Output Window. The tab is automatically activated.
Attribute values that can be changed are displayed in blue in the Output window.
Attribute values that cannot be changed are displayed in black in the Output window.
Search results that are placed on the opened sheet, are highlighted according to the corresponding settings.
The corresponding active object whose contents is changed by Replace next, is highlighted in another color on the sheet and in blue in the Results window.
To reset the highlight, press Shift+F3 or select the Edit -> Reset Highlight command on the Main Menu bar.

Displays a list of text types or attributes that can be taken into account for finding and replacing.
Depending on the selection, only text types or attributes are displayed in the list.

Match case |
If this option is active, only terms that exactly match the specified case are found.
If this option is not active, terms are displayed irrespective of case. |
Match whole word |
If this option is active, the search term is only found if it is not part of another word.
If this option is not active, the search term is found even if it is part of another word.
Example
When this option is active, only results containing the exact word enginewill be found for the selected objects and types with the search term engine. When the option is not active, values such as engineer are also found with the search term engine for the selected objects and types. |
Find next |
Displays the next result of the selected search term. |
Replace next |
The next search result of the selected search term is replaced with the required text.
Each individual replacement is a single server transaction when using multi user projects. |
Replace all |
Replaces all search results in the selected text.
Regardless of the number of texts to be replaced, the command counts as a single server transaction when used in multi-user projects. |
