E³.series Integration with Agile PLM5

The integration of E³.series into Agile PLM5 consists of three modules. Each of these modules can be individually licensed and enhanced to meet user-specific requirements.

  • Material - Transfer of the component master data from PLM5 to E³.series
  • BOM - Transfer of simple or structured bills of material to PLM5
  • DMS - Document management of E³.series documents in PLM5

PLM5 is directly connected to E³.series, giving you PLM5 search functionality for E³.series objects.

E³.series Integration to PLM5 Material Management

Through the material management module component master data can be transferred into your E³.series library. The transfer can either be started at regular intervals or on demand.

E³.series Integration to PLM5 Bill of Material

To transfer a bills of material a structure will be predefined, using freely selectable characteristics. A simple structure (without characteristic) or a structuring by higher level assignment or location or a combination of both of them are available. Your bills of material are created in the project and can then be transferred to PLM5 if necessary, where a material number is assigned. For full tracking, after modifications a modification number is also assigned.

E³.series Integration to PLM5 Document Management

Using the document management module for PLM5, E³.series documents can be effectively managed. The integration provides all basic document management functionality:

  • Creation of a new document
  • Modification of a document
  • Checking-out a document for viewing
  • Modification of the document’s status
  • Different versions

E³.series documents can be directly searched in the PLM5 document management area and be loaded at the push of a button. Adoptions of the modules can also be carried out by Zuken on demand and in accordance with the your individual needs.
