Central E-CAD Library Management

Zuken’s EDA Library Management solution (ELM) provides comprehensive information on all geometry and symbol objects across sites and library classes. It makes it easier for existing or prospective library users to assess what components are available centrally and across library classes (from other departments/sites within the same organization). They can view the state of the component in the development cycle and which other development groups are using them.

“ELM” encourages library development and maintenance from inside and outside the 'traditional' library architecture. A library can be assembled from potentially hundreds of models, each containing many objects underneath that need to be controlled (pad, pad stack, package, footprint, etc). This can cause problems when attempting to assess the impact of a component change or when attempting to see what components are used by a project.

Zuken’s “ELM” solution simplifies this task by viewing and relating library objects arcoss models and even across multiple locations/sites. Powerful usage and reporting tools ease the assessment of specification and component changes, and provide rapid impact analysis for the consuming project(s). When combined with external partners, Zuken’s “ELM” solution has a unique ability to send/receive, view and control all bbjects from these external partners, wherever they are located; improving the speed, effectiveness and assessment of all aspects of component change coming from external partners.
