Access Control
Access control is the ability to permit or deny the use of a particular resource by a particular entity. Access control techniques are sometimes categorized as either discretionary or non-discretionary. The two most widely recognized models are, Mandatory Access Control (MAC), and Role Based Access Control (RBAC). (MAC) is an access policy determined by the DS2 system, not by the owner. A multilevel system is a DS2 system that handles multiple classification levels between subjects and objects.
