For many, component change management has become a nightmare. Keeping track of the incoming daily change notifications from suppliers and updating component data and the assocociated projects is very difficult to manage because of scattered information sources for component information systems.
Zuken’s Component Master (CM) Module provides easy checking with analysis of where the component is being used and what kind of second sources are defined, based on company, division or project level. When a component is used in many applications different criteria can be set to rate second source components for their order of usage.
