Constraints-Driven Design Methodology

The Constraint Manager provides a fully integrated, constraints-driven design methodology. An easy-to-use spread-sheet-like GUI is provided, with cross-probing to schematics and layout.

Constraint Manager is also the control center for analysis and verification. You can access all the Lightning tools to operate on selected parts of a design or to explore design Scenarios. It enables hierarchical constraints to be automatically or manually defined and then verified against the physical implementation of the design using interactive or batch simulation. You can also save re-usable design-independent templates to cut setup time.
