Board Designer Viewer (BD-Viewer)

Security of Design Data

When CR-5000 Board Designer data is distributed in order to be referred to by BD-Viewer, the following method is effective to hide the information. As for this method, CR-5000 Board Designer S/W is necessary.

Wiring/Figure data

In order to delete wiring and figure data on each layer, 'Delete' command of artwork tool is effective.

Below is an example of how to delete the figure in the Symbol-A layer.

  1. In the Artwork module, select from menu bar [View] - [Layer Settings].
  2. In the [Layer Setting] dialog box, Visible in Symbol-A layer is turned on.
  3. Select from menu bar [Edit] - [Delete]. In the panel menu, select [Whole] in the [Area] and [Line] radio buttons to specify an object on the canvas.

Layer Comment

The layer comment in the PCB data is deleted by [Layer Comment Edit Dialog] of Board Designer.

Below is an example of how to delete the layer comment.

  1. In the Placement/Wiring module, select from menu bar [Attributes] - [Edit Layer Comment]
  2. In the [Edit Layer Comment] dialog box, delete the layer comment.

Part Attributes

The part attributes in PCB data can be deleted by batch program 'propedit'.

  • Specify the PCB data for the argument and execute 'propedit' on the command prompt.
