  • Manufacturing and production teams can now view actual designs with their true Board Designer respresentation. When manufacturing and production issues occur on a product, the teams can mark-up the design using the viewer.

    • It allows them to perform more accurate and efficient verification at the production stage. This removes the need to view separate gerber files and manually prepare change notes for circulation back to the design teams.

Having the ability to share the true Board Designer data across the organization, assists in the analysis and conformance to company standards, industry standards and design guidelines.

Functions available within the BD-Viewer

  • PCB/Footprint data can be referred to on a PC in which Board Designer is not installed
  • Display on/off and color of each layer can be specified
  • The order of the display of each layer can be specified
  • The display color of each signal can be specified
  • Data can be searched by Signal name, Reference Designator and Terminal in PCB data
  • Detailed information on data can be referred
  • The distance between the data can be measured
  • Add, delete or move the text comments in BD-Viewer
  • One PCB data file can be referred to from multiple BD-Viewers simultaneously.
