Autorouting

The CADSTAR autorouter's ability to deliver outstanding performance that ultimately makes designs manufacturable, means that it is unparalleled in the market.

It offers full flexibility between manual and automated routing, allowing you to call upon it to carry out all the work in critical areas or manually route to your own specifications. You can also get hands-on at anytime, by viewing automatic routing in progress. You can even step-in to make interactive changes by interrupting the program at any point, and then instructing the commencement of automatic routines to complete the task.

The CADSTAR router can be connected to copper of the same signal name and you can apply this as part of the routing pattern by using the copper as a means of completing the route to a component pin. This information is also used by the design rules checking function when verifying the routing completion.

Copper as a target during autorouting enables template copper to be considered as a target during autorouting:

  • Tacks of the same signal and same layer as the template copper can be connect directly to the poured copper
  • Tracks of the same signal but on a different layer can be connect to the poured copper by way of a via.

Dragon Router

NEW Algorithm technology available in the DRAGON Router!

Zuken’s routing technology is no longer about intelligence alone, it focuses on real strategic implementation, and combines the two within a single environment that can be used by all – from trained engineers to specialist designers.

At the core of the Dragon Router is the Routing Strategy Environment (RSE), and unlike traditional autorouting platforms it allows easy setup and control of all of the routing tools.
