Bills of Material

As default CADSTAR will give you the opportunity to make Bills of Materials as of the early stage of the design process, but unique is the fact that CADSTAR Variant manager Bill of Materials will give you an overview for each variant made during the design.

ODB++

As default CADSTAR delivers ODB++ . This manufacturing output is more and more the preferred container for transmitting bundled fabrication assembly and test data from the PCB Designer’s desk to those who needs to work with the design in an open ASCII format. CADSTAR has developed a powerful tool which allows you to have placement data checks without the need to invest in additional software.

Native intelligent PDF output

As default CADSTAR allows native PDF output. This output allows search functions, and to attach attributes in the PDF document.

Gerber

As default CADSTAR will give you Gerber manufacturing output (RS274X) generate files from your CADSTAR PCB designs to support Fabrication processes and verification.

Extended NC-Drill (Excellon)

As default CADSTAR delivers NC Drill manufacturing output.

IPC-D-365

As default CADSTAR delivers IPC-D-365 manufacturing output, which allows you to carry out fabrication tests with the embedded IPC 356 physical netlist, with the reassurance that your IP content is protected while others work on the files.

MRP-link
