iMstrip

This interfaces between CADSTAR and Aplac and Agilent microstrip routing tools, allowing you to simulate high-frequency conductor geometries on RF PCBs.

Accurate tuning and physical simulation of PCB conductors is critical. It is essential to verify that the schematic transferred to physical layout exactly matches what was intended by the designer. Faults in this part of the design process not only cause circuitry problems but will also affect the core functionality.

MCAD

The MCAD interfaces provided by Latimer CAD are designed to plug into CADSTAR to deliver additional functionality, which can be easily accessed from the CADSTAR interface. 

IDF

Adding Latimer CAD's bi-directional IDF interface to CADSTAR enables the physical aspects of CADSTAR designs to be transferred to a 3D mechanical design system for checking and modification. After modification you can then import the design back into CADSTAR.

AutoCAD

The AutoCAD to CADSTAR interface from Latimer CAD offers you:

  • A unique "real-time" file-free integration with CADSTAR
  • Import and export IDF format files within AutoCAD
  • Add components
  • Component move, rotate and mirror
  • Add drilled (mounting) holes
  • List components
  • Component library
  • Create component (model)

Inventor

A fully bi-directional PCB interface for Autodesk's Inventor allows the physical aspects of a PCB (IDF or CADSTAR format) design to be imported, viewed, checked, modified and then exported.

MRP-link

The MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) Link integrates CADSTAR tools with MRP SQL databases and establishes a bi-directional connection, providing users with access to a vast amount of additional component information for harmonization of part data in electronic designs and for the creation of highly customizable bills of materials (BOMs).
