Zuken’s strong sales prompt new UK CR-5000 training course

11 June, Munich Germany and Westford MA, USA - Zuken reports that strong market adoption of their electronic design automation (EDA) and computer aided engineering (CAE) solutions have created the need for more UK-based independent PCB design consultants trained in CR-5000.

Bob Layton, Head of Zuken UK Sales, commented, “We have witnessed a significant increase in new customers and a broadening of the Zuken solutions used by our existing customer base. So, to respond to the increased demand for ongoing support, we were pleased in May 2009 to offer our first UK independent PCB design consultant training day for CR-5000 – Zuken’s most advanced modular and robust design suite for electronics systems and PCBs.”

In 2008/09 Zuken’s direct sales in both Europe and America registered a strong increase over the previous years in stark contrast with the current European and international business trends. Zuken has noted that many technology-based companies are now placing greater importance on investing in R&D and new product innovation to ensure they are ready to launch new products into the marketplace once the current global recession shows signs of abating. Zuken’s electronic and electrical design solutions offer a range of benefits for the PCB designer and corporate design environment that make Zuken the ideal partner for success.

Course participant, Mr. Adrian Newth, of PCB/CAD Design Services said, “I’ve had several agencies calling for CR-5000 experience over last 12 – 18 months, now I’ve got the training when the next call comes.”

Sue Critcher of Total Board Solutions also commented, “I’ve recently had a customer move over to Zuken’s CR-5000 so I needed to know the technology too! I thought the training day was excellent; it was great to have someone with an intimate knowledge of the product and its applications - they were fielding questions on how it worked for various applications and settings and offering useful comparisons against other tools too.“

Zuken plans to offer further product-specific training on site at their Bristol office for independent PCB design contractors servicing their client base. To register your interest in participating, please contact Bob.Layton@zuken.com
