New CADSTAR Migration Tools from LogicSwap and Zuken
Migrating designs and libraries into CADSTAR, from incumbent EDA tools has just become easier with the launch of new migration tools by LogicSwap, Zuken's preferred provider for CADSTAR migration software. Schematics, libraries and PCB designs can be moved into Zuken's desktop-based PCB design suite, CADSTAR, from Cadence Allegro and Orcad, Mentor Graphics PADS (PCB only), and Altium Protel and P-CAD; without having a negative impact on design schedules.
Zuken Releases CADSTAR 10
Zuken announces the latest version of the desktop PCB design solution, CADSTAR 10.0, which includes the addition of a large number of intelligent functionalities for schematic, library and PCB design, tighter integration with FPGA design tools, and the introduction of an alternative schematic front-end solution E³.logic.
Zuken Introduces New PCB Manufacturing Solution in Europe and North America
Zuken is now offering the proven PCB manufacturing design and verification system, DFM Center; to its customers in Europe and North America. DFM Center is a PCB manufacturing design solution that enables board producers to handle the increasing complexity and diversity of today’s PCBs, while ensuring high final product quality, reduced costs, shorter time-to-market, and environmental sustainability of their manufacturing processes. Through close interaction with PCB design suites this platform meets the challenges of all board production processes.
Zuken and Aldec Deliver New Design Solution: CADSTAR FPGA
As a result of the partnership between Zuken and Aldec, a brand new collaborative product for complete FPGA design and verification has been launched. CADSTAR FPGA combines Aldec’s Active-HDL Lite verification tool and Zuken’s desktop PCB design suite, CADSTAR, allowing engineers to perform mixed language simulation for vendor neutral FPGAs within the CADSTAR environment.
Optima Group Roll-Out E³.series Globally
Specialist packaging machinery manufacturer, the Optima Group, recently chose the E³.series software to globally integrate their complete design operations for electrical and pneumatics product development. The beginning of this implementation has already begun in Germany and will soon be rolled out to subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, France and Brazil.
Free Simulation Kits Available to Users for Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA
Zuken announces the availability of a free simulation design kit for the latest high-performance Virtex™-5 FPGA from Xilinx. Born from cooperation between the two companies, this comprehensive design tool keeps pace with advanced technologies, delivering first-class signal integrity for 65nm FPGA designs.
Zuken Supports ArriaTM GX FPGAs from Altera
Zuken is again providing a helping hand to designers adopting the latest technology, by offering free simulation design kits to assist with the integration of Altera Corporation’s new ArriaTM GX FPGAs onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
AREVA T&D Agree Six-Year Global E³.series Deal
CIM-Team and parent company Zuken have signed deals to supply E³.series software to AREVA Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Product Line Primary Distribution Systems (PDS). The roll out of E³.series software has begun with full adoption in Germany , France and the UK , with further global expansion planned for the near future. This is estimated to result in the purchase of up to 160 licenses during the course of the initial six-years of this partnership.
Zuken and PCB Libraries, Inc. Launch New Land Pattern Generator to Support IPC-7351
Zuken and PCB Libraries Inc., have launched the IPC-7351A LP Wizard for Zuken’s enterprise-wide scalable and robust PCB and advanced packaging suite, CR-5000. This land pattern generator greatly reduces the time it takes to build a standard SMT footprint/symbol for a library part and ensures compatibility with the latest IPC Standard for surface mount design.
Synopsys and Zuken to Deliver Integrated Robust PCB Design and Simulation Solution
Mountain View, CA; Westford, MA; and Munich, Germany - May 30th, 2007 - Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) and Zuken, the engineering consulting company, today announced a partnership to develop an integrated and robust printed circuit board (PCB) design and simulation solution. The intended solution combines two complementary product lines –Synopsys’ Saber® Simulator and Zuken’s CR-5000 System Designer – to deliver a platform for integrated system-level electronic design, simulation and verification. Prompted by requests from mutual customers, Zuken and Synopsys have also established an In-Sync agreement enabling mutual promotion and development work.
