Multiple CR-5000 Library Version & Revision Management
Zuken’s Multiple CR-5000 Library Version and Revision Management solution provides you with the explicit definition and tracking of all individual CR-5000 library versions (even multiple libraries) together with the controlled progression of changes through all individual levels of library objects and its entire EDA library lifecycle. In order to support global or scattered development organizations it has to be ensured that each development location or site will receive the "required" library including the mapping of Material Master Information.
Zuken’s solution encourages library development and maintenance from inside and outside the 'traditional' library architecture and location. For people responsible for libraries, this ensures relevant versions and revisions are consistently highlighted and then distributed to all consuming end-users that require EDA library information, even if the consuming designers are located across many locations/sites. This version and revision control also guarantees that only valid changes are distributed from the correct library source object element to the consuming end-user who requires it, preventing invalid or incomplete changes from being deployed.
Benefits:
- Significantly reduces effort required to manage multiple EDA libraries in "Work In Progress" (WIP) by providing specific automation, powerful reporting and auditing functionality.
- Eliminates system errors attributable to poor version and release management of multiple EDA library data across the entire development environment and notifies end-users of the latest information, irrespective of source and executable location.
- Provides a mechanism to ensure the integrity of multiple EDA library versions (even those created from external partners) that make up a version and revision procedure, through object level version control and an integrated change management facility.
- Zuken’s open architecture enables integration with any location with a development organization and other products within IT architectures.
