Embedded electrical verification and checks for DC
New functionality for calculating or verifying DC nets is included in E³.cable. The customer can enable or disable the calculations as needed. E³.cable supports several different calculations based on attribute sets.
These are, for example, the Connector Permission Current Check, the Fuse Size Check, the Fuse melting time, the Calculation of the Wire Conductor Temperature, etc. – the attribute set needed for the calculations is predefined.
The user can now use the internal calculations instead of using other tools in parallel to calculate the necessary values.
The biggest advantage for the customer is that the calculation values and results are stored within E³.series. It is no longer necessary to archive additional documents together with the E³.series project.
