Zuken is pleased to offer two training courses immediately following the Z-DAC Conference. On November 10th, we'll hold a full day of hands-on training, giving you the chance to make the most of your travel budgets - attend the Conference and stay for the training. In addition, we're offering these special courses at a highly discounted rate of only $350 for the full day.

CR-5000 Courses

Illuminating CR-5000 Batch Programs (1/2 day)
This class shows you how batch programs can help you do your job better. For example, you’ll learn how to modify component locations in Excel, make multiple technologies from a single tech file, and manipulate PCB data bases outside of BD and CAD File Manager, all via batch programs. You’ll also learn the basics of creating .bat files and making scripts that call batch programs. Lastly, you’ll learn how to add these scripts into the CAD File Manager. Note that some of the batch programs discussed may require a license beyond the BD application (product number ZX0501) license. No prior programming experience required.

Re-cycle, Re-use, and Re-invent (1/2 day)
These days, recycle is a household word. Recycle the paper, recycle the cans, the bottles, the plastics. How about this – recycle the design? Yes, recycle is just another word for reuse, and of course design reuse is nothing new in the design world. But do you know how to do it using CR-5000? If you don’t know how or you want to learn the best approach and reinvent that design, this class is for you. We will teach you the steps from the schematic to layout, that will help you to recycle that design so you can save time and money over and over again. Once you finish this course you will be able to say you know how to Re-cycle, Re-use, and Re-invent using CR-5000.
