Airport Transportation & Parking

Transportation to and from the airport is quick and easy.  We recommend a shuttle or taxi.  Rental cars are simply not needed unless you have plans to leave the downtown area.

Taxi

The airport is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio, the average taxi fare from the airport to downtown is $25.00, one way.

Shuttle Service

The San Antonio Airport ’s primary shuttle company is AirportExpress.  Shuttles depart the airport to downtown hotels every 15 minutes, between 7:00am to 1:30am.  AirportExpress tickets are accessible through the ticket kiosk located at the airport or reservations may be made in advance online at www.saairportshuttle.com.  One way fare: $18.00, Round trip: $32.00.

Parking

Valet Parking
Valet parking at Hotel Contessa is available for $28.00 plus tax, per 24 hours.  Day Rate / Visitor Valet parking rate is $15.00 plus tax, per day. Valet parking includes unlimited in and out privileges.
Self Parking
Self parking is readily available in downtown San Antonio.  Two garages are conveniently located across from Hotel Contessa, on Market Street (at the Navarro St. and Presa St. intersections).  The average price for self-parking is $14.00 per day; charges apply for each entry/exit. The Hotel Contessa is not affiliated with any self-parking garages or lots.
