GoEngineer Gets the Green Light
September 21, 2010 – Westford, MA, USA – Zuken has formally announced the addition of GoEngineer as the latest reseller of E³.WireWorks, Zuken’s electrical and fluid design solution for SolidWorks users. GoEngineer will cover the western region of North America for sales and support of E³.WireWorks.
"The demand for E³.WireWorks in North America has grown rapidly and we are keeping pace by further developing our sales and support infrastructure to support this. GoEngineer has an extensive presence on the west coast, and an excellent reputation to match. We look forward to working with them and expanding the reach of our solution to their customers and prospects," said Tony Cadwell, worldwide E³.WireWorks reseller manager for Zuken.
After the strain of the economic slump, GoEngineer has seen most of their customers’ businesses stabilize over the last 12 months and begin to grow again. Kevin Douglas, sales director at GoEngineer, explained that many of their customers are ready to leverage next-generation technology in product development. E³.WireWorks is the perfect complement to their SolidWorks investment, enabling wire, harness, cable assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic design. Make simple text changes within web interface
"A big area where older tools and processes are often in place, is electrical and fluid engineering. E³.WireWorks provides the automation platform needed for electrical and fluid design. Its integration with SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM helps increase collaboration between electrical, fluid and mechanical design teams," remarked Douglas.
GoEngineer has been established for more than 26 years with 12 offices serving customers in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Hawaii.

About E³.WireWorks
E³.WireWorks is a Windows-based, modular, scalable and intuitive system for the design of wiring, harnesses, cable assemblies, and cabinet and panel layout. Its unique design approach stores circuit diagrams, cabinet and panel layouts, and nail board drawings in one multi-view project file. This keeps all drawings and the BOM automatically in sync, reducing errors, increasing quality and enabling engineering changes to be completed much more efficiently. Its close integration with SolidWorks Premium Routing passes netlist, cable, and component data between E³.WireWorks and SolidWorks. It also returns routed segment and wire length information from SolidWorks to E³.WireWorks for manufacturing documentation. SolidWorks Enterprise PDM integration enables data management, workflow, and lifecycle control.
