Zuken Announces PCB Design Software E-Training in America
Flexible E-Learning for Design Gateway
March 11, 2010 - Westford MA, USA - Based on customer feedback, Zuken in America has launched an e-training package for its PCB design solution, Design Gateway. This more cost-effective and flexible training approach overcomes scheduling and travel issues associated with group classroom based training traditionally on offer.
Sandy Jones, Zuken USA Manager of Educational Services, responsible for the introduction of this e-learning package, comments on the growing demand of e-learning among the American user base, "The concept of e-learning has been growing in popularity over recent years as companies and individuals recognize the benefits of the just-in-time learning concept. For Design Gateway we recognize that there are large groups of electronics engineers that need training in this software. By introducing this concept we are able to serve the needs of these broader audiences in a relatively short time frame, while delivering a flexible package that easily fits around projects."
The course, which is split into nine chapters, runs for three hours online, with additional off-line tasks - the estimated completion time is six hours. Throughout this interactive course, narrated PowerPoints and AVIs along with quizzes, ensure e-learners stay engaged and information is absorbed and retained. At the end a course completion certificate is supplied. Zuken also provides specialist support to address questions as required.
