CAE Integration
CAE integration is a key part of the design process in order to realize product design. As designs have grown in size and complexity so has the need to improve the "front-end" design system to enable the engineer to achieve the goals.
CAE systems include the schematic capture and all its surrounding infrastructure of language based design (HDL) and simulation, Analog simulation, RF design and simulation. Because the complexity of the components used within designs is increasing, it is necessary that large pin count devices are created quickly and easily.
In addition, the front-end system has to integrate into the existing infrastructure in order to realize the full potential of the EDA system.

Test and Verification
System Designer is developed on a structured yet flexible architecture which allows the toolset to be readily customized. This allows the tool to be configured to work in the best way to fit a customers design process and environment, reducing the learning curve while making it closely integrated to existing infrastructure.
Cabling Designer allows users to capture the logical design of the complete system and plan the physical wiring used within the product. Wiring can be defined and connected between "black box" units or units that refer to a System Designer PCB, allowing the next level of hierarchy in the complete system design to be captured graphically and used within the EDA system.
