Gate Pin swap on Routed Connections

A routed connection can participate in a swap. However prior to the swap the routed connection has to be altered.

The routed segment at the end(s) of the connection where the swap is occurring is to be unrouted i.e. in this example swapping the first and second pins shown;

 Before swap

Before swap

During swap - first unroute end segment

During swap - first unroute end segment,

then swap is carried out.

then swap is carried out.

If there is only one segment, then the single routed connection itself is unrouted completely i.e. swapping top two pins;

During swap - first unroute end segment

If the single segment routed connection is unrouted and is only connected to unrouted connections at the other end, the resulted connections will be optimised to the pin, and then swapped. i.e. swapping the top two pins;
